Just In!. Rain wins again as Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka world cup match ends with no result. The 16th match Bang vs SL was expected to be held at County Ground, Bristol today at 10:30 am U.K Time. However, before the toss ceremony could take place, heavy rain started to fall over the Bristol Stadium.
Therefore, the toss was delayed and the cricket fans were waiting for it. But, Later on when the authorities inspected the stadium, it was revealed that match could not take place, as the heavy rain showers left stadium with no use. In the end, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka were both awarded with one point each, with match ending in no result.
This was the third match that was effected with rain and ended in no outcome. Too many rain interrupted matches have left cricket fans wondering that why do the ICC Authorities have not thought about it. With the advance technologies, one can easily predict the weather for a cricket match. As, it’s not the first match to be effected by the bad weather, fans have now started lashing out at ICC for the bad decisions about the Match Venues.
