Shafiul Islam
Fast bowler Shafiul Islam received his first international call-up when selected in Bangladesh’s one-day international squad for a tri-series against India and Sri Lanka in January 2010. The only uncapped player included in the squad, Shafiul’s ODI debut came against Sri Lanka, where he took 1-39, dismissing Kumar Sangakkara. His Test debut came in the same month against India. The quick was part of Bangladesh’s 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup squad, where his skills as a lower-order batsman were put to the test when he was part of a 58-run partnership that steered Bangladesh to a two-wicket victory over England. After missing out on Bangladesh's squad for the 2015 World Cup, he was brought in as a replacement for pace bowler Al-Amin Hossain, who was sent home after breaking a team curfew.
His first wicket in an ODI was Kumar Sangakkara.
