Just In! PCB have announced Pakistan T20 and test Team Squad for Australia tour. Former Captain and Wicket Keeper Sarfraz Ahmed have been replaced by Rizwan Ahmed. In addition, Fast Bowler Mohammad Irfan have also been recalled to Pakistan team Squad for Australia tour. The Head Coach and Cheif Selector of PCB Misbahul Haq announced the Pakistan Team Squads ahead of Australia tour.
While Speaking to press Chief Selector Misbahul Haq said:
“Our aim is to move up the Test rankings and begin the Test Championship strong. There is a need to play a different brand of cricket, the balance of the squads is reflective of us having options to play aggressive, attacking cricket”
However, Pakistan Cricket fans are shocked to see former Captain Sarfraz Ahmed excluded from Australia tour. Sarfraz who was being criticized for his poor performance with the bat in Limited overs Cricket, have been replaced by Rizwan Ahmed. The internet Sources say ” There is some controversy going on between Sarfraz and Misbahul haq”. Sarfraz Ahmed have been the most successful T20 captain for Pakistan winning a record eleven T20 Series for Pakistan consecutively. However, his name is not included in this crucial tour to Australia.
Meanwhile, some new and familiar faces have been added to the Pakistan cricket team for this tour. Abid Ali, Musa Khan, Shahid Bhatti, Ifitikhar Ahmed, Khusdil Shah and Adil Khan are the new faces in this tour.
Misbahul Haq have been put in tremendous pressure by Pakistan Cricket fans after a home T20 Series loss to the Sri Lankan B Team. This tour is a real challenge for Misbah as Head coach and Chief Selector.
