West Indies is facing hurdles in their recent tour to India, as they lost first test in a very terrible way. After winning the toss, Indian skipper, King Kohli opted to bat first. Indian batsmen took over the Caribbean bowlers in a very classic fashion. Though, Lokesh Rahul got lbw without marking his innings, but his partner, Prithvi Shaw made a debuting 134 for India.
After the departure of both the openers, Indian middle order too continued to bash the Windies bowlers. As, Cheteshwar Pujara 86, Virat Kohli 139, Ajinkya Rahane 41, Rishabh Pant (wk) 92 and unbeaten Ravindra Jadeja 100 took India to a strong position.

However, Windies could not manage to bat in a responsible way as they reached 181 in their first innings. India enforced a follow on on Windies. However, Once again they failed to chase the score and collapsed at 196 in the 2nd innings. So, India won the first test with a huge margin of an innings and 272 runs.
