Just In! Australia are all out at 580 on the second day of the Brisbane test, while Pakistan trail by 340 runs. After falling trap to the Aussie Bowlers, Pakistan were bowled out on 240 in their first innings, earlier on. On the other hand, Australia chased down this trail and scored a whooping 580 with a lead of 340 runs against Pakistan. As the second day of this stumped, Pakistan were batting at 63/3 in their second innings.
Soon after, the Pakistan were wrapped up at the first day of the Brisbane test, Australia came to begin their turn. Their top order provided a stable start with David Warner scoring 154 and his partner Joe Burns adding 97 runs. After the departure of Both openers, the Middle of Australian Batting line up too followed the path. Marnus Labuschagne scored 185 runs and Mathew Wade hit a fifty of 60 runs.
Even though, Steven Smith was bowled by Yasir Shah at 4, Australia managed to drive Pakistan for a grand total of 580 runs. Now, Australia lead Pakistan by 240.
However, Pakistan seemed to be in trouble right after the start of their second turn. They lost Azhar Ali, Haris Sohail and Asad Shafiq at a short sum of 64/3. However, Shan Masood and Babar Azam were still on the crease at the 2nd day of the ongoing test stumped off.
The Pakistan middle order need to stay long at the crease as long as they can. Their hopes to win this test are dead and they might look for a draw here for better fortune.
